Courtney Shearer is an Atlanta-based kitchen and bath designer and owner of her own design blog, The Cow Spot.

Experience

Courtney Shearer is a former writer for The Spruce, where she wrote about kitchen design, countertops, cabinetry, sinks, and outdoor kitchens for more than a year.

Shearer is a kitchen and bath designer with more than 10 years of experience. She is committed to designing a space that reaches its highest potential at any budget. She also writes a regular home design blog, The Cow Spot. 

Currently, Shearer is the director of design for Bell Kitchen & Bath Studios.

Education

Shearer attended the University of Georgia and graduated in 2008 with a B.S. in Furnishings and Interiors. 

Awards

In 2011, Shearer won the Calla Award for Large Kitchen and in 2013 was selected by the National Kitchen & Bath Association as one of the industry's Top 30 under 30.

Her blog, The Cow Spot was a finalist for Best New Design Blog for the 2012 Design Bloggers Hall of Fame and was nominated for a Homie Award by Apartment Therapy in 2014.
